These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of this website and any interaction with Andrew James Paterson ("I", "me", "my"). By accessing this website, submitting an enquiry, or booking a call, you agree to these Terms.

1. Website use
This website is provided for informational purposes only. You agree not to:
• Use the site for any unlawful purpose
• Copy, reproduce, or redistribute content without written permission
• Interfere with the site’s security, performance, or availability

2. No advice and no guarantees
Content on this website does not constitute legal, financial, tax, or professional advice. Any examples, estimates, or outcomes mentioned are illustrative only. Results depend on many factors outside my control and I do not guarantee specific results or financial outcomes.

3. Services and engagements
I provide strategic consulting using the REMAP™ method. Current offer containers may include:

• REMAP™ Experiment Engine
• REMAP™ Launch Build
• Quarterly Growth Futures Review (REMAP™)

Services are only provided under a signed agreement (for example a statement of work, proposal, or contract) that defines scope, timing, deliverables, fees, and responsibilities. If there is any conflict between these Terms and a signed agreement, the signed agreement prevails. I reserve the right to decline, pause, or terminate an engagement where necessary.

4. Fees, payment, and refunds
Fees are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) unless agreed otherwise. VAT is excluded unless stated. Payment terms will be stated in your signed agreement and invoice.

Unless agreed otherwise in writing:
• Work typically starts after an upfront deposit or first payment is received
• Invoices are payable within 7 calendar days of issue
• Payments are non refundable once work has commenced and capacity has been allocated
• Late payments may result in a pause of work until accounts are up to date

5. Intellectual property and REMAP™
REMAP™ is a trademark owned by Andrew James Paterson in South Africa. The REMAP™ method, structures, frameworks, templates, and materials remain my intellectual property unless explicitly transferred or licensed in writing.

Clients retain ownership of their business data and internal information they provide. You may not copy, adapt, resell, or publicly distribute REMAP™ materials without written permission.

6. Third party tools and client accounts
Delivery and website operations may involve third party platforms, including Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Meta Pixel for measurement and attribution, and scheduling tools (for example Calendly) for bookings. Third party services have their own terms and privacy policies. I am not responsible for third party outages, changes, pricing updates, or security incidents on third party platforms. Clients are responsible for their own subscriptions unless stated otherwise in writing.

7. Confidentiality
Non public information shared during an engagement is treated as confidential. Confidentiality obligations may also be defined in the signed agreement (including NDAs). Confidential information does not include information that is public, already known without breach, or required to be disclosed by law.

8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
• I am not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
• My total liability for a specific engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement
• You remain responsible for business decisions, compliance, and implementation inside your business

9. Privacy
Personal information is handled in line with my Privacy Policy and applicable South African law (including POPIA). View Privacy Policy.

10. Testimonials and portfolio use
I will not disclose confidential client information. Any public use of your name, logo, or identifiable results will only be done with your prior written consent. Anonymous learnings may be shared in a way that does not identify you.

11. Changes to scope
Work is limited to the scope in the signed agreement. Additional work, revisions, or new requests may require a separate scope and fee.

12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Disputes will be handled under the jurisdiction of South African courts unless agreed otherwise in writing.

13. Updates
These Terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of this website after updates indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how I collect, use, store, and protect personal information, in line with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). If you access this website from outside South Africa, your information may be processed in South Africa and by trusted service providers in other countries.

1. Information I collect
I may collect:
• Name, email, phone number, and any details you submit via forms or messages
• Booking information submitted via scheduling tools (for example Calendly)
• Business information you choose to share during calls or enquiries
• Website usage data collected via cookies and similar technologies, including pages visited, device information, and approximate location

2. How I use your information
I use personal information to:
• Respond to enquiries and communicate with you
• Schedule and manage calls and engagements
• Deliver services where requested and agreed
• Improve website performance and user experience
• Measure marketing performance and attribution
• Comply with legal obligations where required

I do not sell your personal information. I only send marketing communications where you have opted in or where permitted by applicable law. You can opt out at any time.

3. Analytics and advertising tracking
This website uses:

• Meta Pixel to measure and attribute advertising performance and to support retargeting where enabled

4. Sharing and service providers

Under POPIA, you may request to:

• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete information where appropriate
• Object to certain processing where applicable

You may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa if you believe your rights have been infringed.
